from Takao"
Views
from mountains are one of those things that tend to look very nice in
person, as you stand there and feel the wind blowing up from down
below, but the resulting photographs taken at the time always
disappoint! On the other hand, since you weren't standing there
on Mt. Takao with me when I took this picture, it might be more of
interest to you than it is to me. Certainly I feel that way about
photos of natural scenery in places I've never been to - enjoying the
photos in the ignorant bliss of not knowing how the wind felt, what
scent was in the air, the feeling of being closer to the clouds
drifting by overhead....
