Tokyo, for most office workers, is a city of brightly-lit offices in gleaming towers, and yet - if you know where to go - there are remnants of a different era still lurking in the middle of it all. Just a five-minute walk from the skyward-thrusting towers above, is the scene below, where people can go for a taste of another era. Not surprisingly, it is the shops with the oldest ambience that are persistently crowded. The newer looking ones are rightfully ignored - in a time warp, who wants to see anything new?!
