"Shinagawa Late Night Aquarium" - by Lyle (Hiroshi) Saxon, Images Through Glass, Tokyo I was given a free ticket to the late night aquarium in Shinagawa (Epson Shinagawa Aqua Stadium), so I went to have a look. Just a few minutes from the station area, is the blue-light path up a hill to the entrance of the aquarium and small amusement park (there is also a concert hall and restaurant). While watching the dolphins leaping in the air, you can feel the rumble of the roller coaster (which is just under the dolphin pool apparently!). (Below #2 & #7) - Takanawa Gold/Tennis Center. (Below #8) - The parking lot over the aquarium - notice the skylight in the center of the picture - this is directly over the large tank with the clear tunnel that runs through it. (Below #4 & #5) - Looking down through the skylight at that tank & tunnel. (Below #6) - Looking through another skylight in the parking lot - this one for the dolphins' pool. (Below #2) - The skylight for the dolphins' pool. (Below #5) - Equipment for maintaining the aquarium's tank water. (Below #6) - Heading back towards Shinagawa Station. Tokyo night,
blue-light road, Shinagawa Station area, etc.
