| Hatanodai - would be a convenient
station to live near.  The train stops nearly at street level, so
there are almost no stairs to negotiate getting on and off the train,
and there's a shopping street immediately next to the station.
The car culture is hitting Japan hard and there are now neighborhoods
where it's inconvenient to live without a car.  I would rather
trade a little on prices and be able to walk to the store.  I
think it's a huge mistake to set up a group of people's residences so
that they have to ride fire-breathing machinery to go shopping.
It's not sustainable and - as such - is destructive to one and
all.  -  Copyright 2006
