Temples in Japan have their
similarities, but there are many different... branches... of Buddhism
and the temples, even when of similar construction, sit within rather
different atmospheres. Honmonji is fairly large and consists of
several buildings and I detected a wide range of different feelings in
my time there walking around. Don't ask me what that means, as it
was a wordless wind that was blowing, but I would like to point out
that some places have a more unified feeling to them.... What
does it mean? Who knows! Go and have a look to see what you
think! - Copyright 2006
