�¡My name is Ryo AZUMI. ‚ ‚¸‚Ý–¸ (azumi ryou) in Japanese.

�¡ I'm a freelance manga/Japanese comic artist. I was born and grew up in downtown Tokyo. Since I was a bit introverted, I became a girl who likes reading books (of course including manga) and drawing pictures. After graduated from the art school, I started a career as a professional manga artist in 1982. I'm a member of manga coterie. About my main works, please see the illustrations and the comics pages.

�¡ My favorite things...I like traveling alone. Scandinavian countries have special place in my heart. I have interest in the historical things especially Viking age. I like Norse mythology, Edda and Saga. Visiting museums, ruins and castles. Having a stroll in the town, Riding a bicycle. Sometimes I enjoy wearing Kimono, Japanese folk costume. Listening music of E.Grieg, J.Sibelius, R Wagner and Secret Garden. I'm fond of Korean historical dramas and the mystery novel "Brother Cadfael"series...And I'm a cat-lover.(=^�E^=)

�¡ I'm a part-time teacher of the creators college of Nihon Kougakuin. I'm Teaching how to make manga for young guys.
