Arte Mandolinistica is located next to our museum. I'm both the director and a tutor there. In addition to my instruction,independent exercise is important in order to brush up your skill. It's good to expand on various practice techniques, so as not to tire of routine practices. I developed a fun exercise to practice the mandolin. It is based on a traditional Japanese children's card game "Karuta". The contents of these cards tells you about the importance of sensibility in playing the mandolin and helps you develop your theoretical knowledge of the mandolin. This game is a great supplement for practicing other instruments, too.
