I had no idea about this fortress, so I came there. But the admission fee is 11.5 pound. Approx. 0.1 secound after I knew about it, I gave up to enter. In my guide book, this had been royal residence, and prison, then now famous sightseeing place. One of the most famous one is Yeoman of the royal guard who wear old style uniforms. Henry VII strated this system (Yeoman of royal guard). THe oldest part of this fortress was build in 1078 by William the Conqueror, and other parts were build later.
