Cocoons hanging here and there

Unskillful one made an exception like you see on your left. The cocoon is proof against all weathers: the Indian summer sun, rains, blasts and even early typhoons could not damage it at all. Will they come out in spring? You are thrilled and horrified to see them. If anyone already know what kind of butterfly or moss this caterpillar transforms into, please write to me. Thank you.
