White igrets' paradise

From time to time I watch a small white igret or a few of them flying over me in my neighborhood. But I couldn't believe my eyes when I found about 30 of them, each ten of whom flew away together whenever they felt dangerous. The place has the good location - worms in the field and safety.

A convolvulus

On the edge of the rice field or on the bank of a streamlet you find convolvuluses blooming. Their color makes us feel the summer will be over very soon.

How is the rice growing?

Northern half of Japan has missed the summer sunlight a lot this year, but in Osaka we have had plenty of it. Owing to the summer sun, rice has grown so well as to bow again and again.
