Fall Snow in Hakuba
Changes in an outdoor view of the snow seen through a window of a living room in a nature inn "Star & Storm" (Japanese name: Hoshi to Arashi) in Hokujo, Hakuba-mura, Nagano Prefecture, Japan (photographed on 12 November 2006; 840 m elevation).
(A) Snowfall (photographed at 0856 h).
(B) Snowfall, seven hours after the A (photographed at 1550 h).
The snow was flying, sometimes like a snowstorm, throughout the day, and snow fell up to 12-13 cm depths by the next morning. Any amphibian survey was not conducted in that day.
