(A) A fine view of Ulaanbaatar streets that was afforded from an observation platform at the top of the Zaisan Hill, located approximately 3 km from the Sukhbaatar Square. The Tora River was seen in the lower range of this photograph.
(B) Gross appearance of the Zaisan Hill. A monument concerning Russian soldiers was established at an entrance of the Zaisan Hill in 1971. This monument was dedicated to the conclusion of World War II.
(C) Some scribbles that were written in various languages on a stone, a part of a surrounding 3 x 60 m wall with mosaic paintings in the observation platform.
(D) A gate of the Bogd-Khan Royal Palace Museum that was established in 1919. The Bogd-Khan was a Tibetan that was recognized by the Dalai-Lama when still young as the heir to the Spiritual Throne of Mongolia.
(E) The Capitol of Mongolian States, located in the Sukhbaatar Square. A national assembly was not held at this time.
