Terrestrial-Phase Male

Terrestrial Male
An adult male Salamandrella keyserlingii during the terrestrial phase of the nonbreeding season. This is the last male captured in a pitfall-trap on 18 October 1997, the day before completing all censuses. The throat region of the male is translucent white during September, and changes into an opaque, white patch during October (Hasumi, 2001).
