Northern Light (September 2003), Photograph; Ryoji Fukabori

At that night when I went to Blue Lagoon, it was fine weather. Many stars was shinning. I ate a dinner and took a shower, then I look out of windows. It was cloudy.

Hmm, I would like to see stars. Wait,,, that cloud move,,, strage. What is it? I went out and look carefully. That cloud-like object cover overed northern sky, and slowly but moved back and forward. Then landlady came out, and said that was northern light. Oh it's my first time to see northern light!! Huh, Aurora moves like that.

I went back to my room and took camera. I put it to window and tried to take a photograph. Exposure time was 5,,, hmmm, maybe 10 sec. Then this 100 mega pixel camera could take fine photograph (by Canon PowerShot A30).
