Animal Tracks to Site

Animal Tracks to Site
A forest road toward a population of the salamander Hynobius kimurae, inhabiting Hokujo, Hakuba-mura, Nagano Prefecture, Japan (photographed on 13 November 2006). This road was covered with snow that had fallen from the night of 11 November. Note two animals' tracks onto the snow, maybe those by parent and child of the serow (goat antelope).

Accompanied Research Collaborators (alphabetical order): Masaichi Kakegawa (Tokyo Metropolitan Komatsugawa Senior High School), and Fujio Kishi and Yuko Saikawa (Shirouma Association of Naturalists).
