Part-57: Percimmon and butterflies

Japanese percimmon trees turns their leaves to beautiful orange color in autumn. There are several kinds of percimmons. Some of them are so tasty! Birds loves them, too.




A butterfly named Uraginnshijimi (Curetis auta MOORE)

She visited my garden and rested on the leaf, then flew away. From under you see the wings look silver.

Another butterfly called Akatateha (Vanessa indica HERBST)


This one did not seem fine on the side of a country path. The wings are colorful. They pass winter as imagines.
