“be curious to不定詞”で、「to不定詞したい」。
know の〔目的語〕は、〔whether節〕。〔whether節〕内の imagine の〔目的語〕は、〔that節〕。
“be ignorant of...”で「……を知らない」「……に気づいていない」。反対の意味を表す表現は、“be aware of...”「……を知っている」「……に気がついている」。
最後の“？”は、どこかで間違えたのだろう。
「君が言っていることについては、おそらく正しいかもしれない。でも、私は、君が、節度のある人間は自分自身節度があることについて気づいていないと思っているかどうかを、とても知りたいのだ」

名詞drift は、「漂流」や「流れ」「傾向」。今回は「意味」「趣旨」。point と同じような使い方ができるのかも知れない。
“What is your drift?”で、What's your point? や What do you mean? と似た意味になりそう。
