富田林寺内町の探訪

I'm glad to intorduce an old town, Jinaimachi, Tondabayashi, Osaka, Japan as a national historic district and heritage site.

It takes 30 minutes from Osaka city to Tondabayashi station by Kintetsu railways. A 10-minutes walk will take you to the historic town.

In Jinaimachi, Tondabayashi, I hope some of the projects may be carried out through the development schme of the LLC.

For example, there remains a Buddhist altar shop. Nowadays, though I thought it would be very tough to run an Buddhist altar shop, I was surprised to see the collection of the Buddhist altar on the second floor of the shop. They are all fine art crafts. The decoration works of shrines and temples all over Japan are undertaken. A picture framer in Jinaimachi as well has undertaken repair works , such as sliding doors picture of national treasure of the copunty. In addition, there remain an old-fashioned plumber, a stone processing store, a tatami floor mat dealer, gardener, bedding items store and they continue to steady thier business.

Jinaimachi has been still supporting the traditional lifestyle of Japan and has inherited them. This is an amazing thing. Though development and new things are also good, but it is also important to keep balance and alternatives for selections. The fact that makes us realize the important thing imeans that Jinaimachi may have a remaining mission and role now. Wooden lattice, tiled roof, white walls, Shinobigaeshi (theft protection security device), pine tree over the wall, .... We might just feel like a fantasy. Jinaimachi town is no other anywhere.

While the chance to live in the town being given, we have entrusted this kind of treasures. How about introducing Japanese traditional culture of Jinaimachi town just as they are on those occasions of Japan Fair abroad,? It is believed that the dream of everyone becomes a reality. Oh yeah, I remember I have a friend who have the work of Milan Expo. The Cool Japan campaign in efforts is also be taken into account.

In Jinaimachi town, there are talented designers, art craft manufacturerers, and even those whose relative is famous movie director. Also town-related musicians, too. I do hope those creative forces would be spread out all over Japan and the world as "Fine, Jinaimachi Japanese taste".
