History (Origin)
This family is a branch family of the Kuzuhara head family located to the north. The existing building was built, when a person called Sanjiro established a branch family in 1854. A meeting place was located to the east of the three- story storehouse according to illustrated map of 1710. The remains of the meeting place are not left, but the name  of Kaisho-cho has been derived from the meeting place, or Kaisho in Japanese.

The Kuzuhara head family was said to be a county samurai from Totsukawa village, Yoshino-gun, Nara Prefecture, and began a liquor brewery in Tondabayashi in 1781. However, the current main house was built in the early 19th century, and it is considered to be the reconstruction. According to the old map in 1710, it can be found that there was a Kaisho, a meeting house, to the east of the residence of the Kuzuhara family. No remain is not left now, but the name of Kaisho-cho has been derived from it.

Features of the buildings
The main building is located in the east and west direction at the western part of the premises and tea-ceremony room and three-story storehouse are located to the east of the main building across the courtyard. The precious three-story storehouse, built in 1854, is few found in Japan, is identified as the landmarks of Jinaimachi. The storehouse is characterized as the eaves of each layer, hongawara-buki style tile-roofing, white wall of gable facing to the street. I individualize a white wall in wives for the face. It was used to store land tax rice.
